Ari Morris started playing and recording music in the basement of his parents’ New Jersey home at age sixteen.  After moving to Memphis to pursue a degree in recording technology, and, in the spring of 2012, graduating with a degree in recording technology, Ari has made himself a mainstay in the music community.   While still a student, Ari landed a job at Young Avenue Sound as an intern.  In the past four years, he has worked his way up the ranks from intern to engineer, and has been afforded the opportunity to work on many different types of projects, with artists of all shapes and sizes.  He has worked with producers as diverse as Malcolm Springer, Lody Lucciano, Greg Archilla, Carlos Broady, SMK, Paper Diamond and the late Skip McQuinn.  Some of the artists that Ari has worked with include: Macy Gray, Freesol, 8Ball and MJG, TELA, Kia Shine, Lucero, The Sore Eyes, The Young Liars, Dondada, KAE State, Bumpy Johnson, Nunie Matisse, Mister Modest, Simplee Gifted, Darrel Petties, Mr. George Dean, Rocko Da Don, Jimi Jameson, The Warble, OG Boo Dirty, Cornbread, Lando AKA O-Dog, Yossarian, Gerald Stephens, and NBA star Shawne Williams.  Ari does everything from studio engineering, to mixing, and production work.
